Feel Good Swing is a cultural association from turin which deals with vernacular afroamerican dances like Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jazz Roots , Blues and Slow Drag. The client asked specifically for a graphic inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, a cultural and artistic movement originated in Harlem, New York, during the Twenties. The intellectuals involved were searching for a way to express and explore the historical experience of Afroamerican and the “Negro” pride. In visual arts the references are the African tribal origins and they are translated into powerful and colorful that give life to a new vision of the present mixing it with the past.
In addition to the logo and the illustrations it was also designed a website and the printed and online communication.
