Fiat’s Brand Museum
Centro Storico Fiat, inaugurated in 1963, is located in Torino, in the liberty-style building that has been the first expansion of Corso Dante’s workshops, Fiat’s place of birth. The center hosts a collection of original cars, antiques, scale models, projects and posters that covers the whole history of the factory. Since the very first car, the 3½ Hp, to the amazing Mefistofele, and passing by tractors, trucks, locomotives, airplanes, naval engines, bikes and appliances. At Centro Storico Fiat you can also consult the historical archive of the factory.
The Brochure
On the occasion of the participation of the unique model of 8V to the Millemiglia Race 2012 (a vintage car race held in the north of Italy), Fiat orders a new project for the brochure of the center. The elegant graphic design with a touch of hand-lettering travel through decades of heroes and inventors, in parallel with the history of Italy. The book jacket gives a deeper insight about the 8V, from the design and technical project, very advanced at the time, to the first time on the road in 1952. The brochure has been realized for Leo Burnett in collaboration with Loretta Zecchillo.
